Christmas Time...a crazy time of year. Everyone should remeber the reason for the season! Christmas eve was interesting this year. Alittle bit of tears, maybe cause I was emotinal(girl reasons) However, I really enjoyed Christmas eve service at University Park Church, a meaningful time of prayer worship and meditation. A great way to set the mood for christmas. Christmas day was a joy. A nice family breakfast after presents, then the McCullough family came over. 5 lil ones running around is sure to bring smiles and delight. Dad and bro split to watch football, while mom and me went to aunt Kathy's for a delicious dinner..Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, squash...ummm can you say delicious. Lots of laughs at the table too! Lil Benny was a crack up, he refused to pray..I think he was shy...but such a sweet and caring lil boy he is. The best part was the Sunday after Christmas, the Christmas Play, Cam and I put together and also Ryan's sermon on Hope (Ezekiel 37) Our breath..us crying out God's name Yahweh. Most of my mom's family attended, and what a delight that was. Tears and emotions were stirred. Prayer should continue for their hearts. It was so nice to have them there. Then we all went to lunch...wish every sunday were like that.
God has truly blessed me with so much, to look back and see all the things he provides just for me and then to think that he does that for everyone who is faithful to him! Man.."What faith can do?" What an amazing God we serve.
With the start of a new year, I am encouraged to turn over a new leaf.
I hope to make this year a step closer to what God would want me to be. To listen to him, obediently, acomplishing what he would have me do. My hope and prayer is that I would be driven toward obedience rather than perfection. For perfection only points out how far I have to go, but obedience marks how far I have allready come. My focus is on the lil bits of self-denial, the faithfulness in lil things that God uses in my life to change me. Relax, take life, step by step; instead of power walking-pushing, striving, and conniving. For he has much more in mind for His kingdom than I can see or even know.

"To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy. To the only GOd our Savior be glory, majesty, power, and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore. Amen!"
Jude 24-25
